SP Visual is owned and operated by Stephen Purchase.

Stephen has over 10 years experience working in the printing and publishing industry, and since leaving the industry in 1999 has continued for the past 10 years producing graphic designs.

In 1989, Stephen began working for the Nhill Free Press, a country Victorian Newspaper Publisher and Commercial Print Shop.  After less than 12 months, Stephen was the Printing Production Manager for the Commercial Printing Department and also the company's graphic designer.  This role involved discussing with clients their requirements and ideas, producing artwork based on these discussions and then transfering that artwork to the printing press to produce the finished product for them.  With a wide range of clients and work requirements, Stephen was able to develop and build his skills in both design and offset printing.  Ranging from simple single colour business cards or letterheads, through wedding stationary and on to full colour publications, Stephen had the opportunity to be fully involved in the
printing and graphic arts industrys.

In 1999 Stephen's role changed and he became the Newspaper Production Manager, responsible for producing two weekly newspapers and also travelling weekly to Ballarat to work as a graphic designer for another of the company's publications.
